Danielle has 7 years teaching experience and decided to make teaching music a full time career 3 years ago. She has a love of sharing music knowledge and developing well-rounded, passionate musicians.
Being a well-rounded musician herself, she’s performed in orchestras, jazz bands, contemporary music projects and function bands since before she left secondary school – her most memorable performances being in the Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium.
She started singing from as soon as she could talk and quickly progressed to playing flute and then saxophone. From then on she developed a keen passion for all things musical, developing her skills in classical, popular and jazz genres and eventually moving on to composition. She initially studied at Hertfordshire University, completing a degree in Music, Commercial Composition & Technology in 2006. She then held a monthly residency for 2 years with her band in a number of big London clubs promoting new electronic music, with a live performance aspect.
Danielle has recently graduated from the University of Reading with a Masters degree in Instrumental and Vocal Teaching which has infused a variety of teaching approaches into her lessons.
