To keep your flute as clean as possible, wipe it down after each use. Use a soft cloth to wipe the outside of the flute. To clean the inside wrap the cloth around the cleaning rod found in your case, so that none of the rod is exposed, and gently clean the inside by rotating the cloth in the same direction as it is wrapped around the rod.
