SUMMER 2026 AT DEROSA
Fill out the form and our team will get back to you within 24 hours.
Tuition fees are invoiced at the time of enrolment and align with the school terms.
You can choose to pay the invoice in full or set up a Direct Debit. If you opt for Direct Debit, an £80 charge will be applied to bring your account into credit as well as the cost of lessons for the remainder of the month. This credit pre-payment ensures you do not fall into a negative balance, as we often teach more lessons in a month than are paid for over a 12 month period. The Direct Debit will then be collected on the 1st of every month.
Existing customers must use GoCardless for fee collection in preparation for the upcoming term's lessons, approximately four weeks before the end of the current term. This allows time to notify us if you are not returning. Alternatively, you can pay through our low-cost payment plan of 12 equal instalments.
Fees are collected on the 1st of each calendar month.
Our term dates run in parallel with the state school terms published by the local County Council within the DeRosa's location.
DIRECT DEBIT CANCELLATION
Please note it is the customer's responsibility to cancel the Direct Debit upon leaving. Any direct debits taken after the point of leaving cannot be refunded.
Refunds for lessons will be processed via your GoCardless account or a stored debit/credit card through our Bank Grade PCI DSS Level 1 Payment Providers, ensuring future refunds can be handled smoothly.

Health and safety and first aid is a responsibility we take seriously. Please bring to our attention anything that may give you cause for concern.
Please note we may not always have a qualified First Aider on site.
All teachers are DBS checked. They work within a safeguard policy.
Every care is taken to ensure the health and safety of your child whilst on our premises. Derosa Music is only responsible for your child when in a Derosa Music lesson.
We are unable to provide any form of supervision before or after the lesson. For this reason, students remain in the care of accompanying adults before and after lessons. Parents / Carers are requested to arrive a few minutes before the lesson starts and a few minutes before the lesson has finished. This ensures a smooth and safe transition between lessons for all students.
Please do not leave your children unattended before or after lessons as we do not offer childcare facilities. In cases where you are unavoidably detained (e.g. traffic or emergency) please contact the shop and let us know.
We ask parents not to enter a students lesson without prior permission as this can become disruptive for both teacher and pupil. This may also cause safeguarding issues in the case of group/band lessons.
In the event of bad/severe or extreme weather conditions (hot or cold) or any other external factors beyond our control;
If we feel it is necessary to close the school due to bad/severe weather conditions and/or for the safety of all pupils, teachers & staff, we will offer an alternative lesson in the holidays or lessons via Zoom. By the nature of this decision we are unlikely to be able to make this decision in advance of the day it may occur.
If you are unable to make this alternative lesson, unfortunately we are unable to refund or credit the lesson.
The same condition will apply where there are any other circumstances that we could not have foreseen & are beyond our control.

A week long singing workshop lead by our beloved singing teacher Kelsey Crowley, group together with your peers to work on your vocal techniques and put on a performance of some your favourite pop songs.
With music from artists such as Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone and Taylor Swift, you can expect a week filled with fun singing your heart out to your favourite artists.
The group will focus on different daily techniques such as vocal warm ups/cool downs, harmonising, performance coaching (and maybe even a chance to choreograph some basic pop group routines!).
Students are encouraged to bring their own ideas of songs they would like to perform to the first session so they can all work as a group to decide their final repetoire.
After they have decided the songs they would like to perform, students will then spend the week putting this performance together with their teacher. They will be given professional instruction on singing techniques such as breath control, vocal warm ups and cool downs alongside learning new singing skills such as harmonising and understanding vocal register. Students will also create basic choreography to go with their songs to emphasise 'Pop Group' element of the choir. If students wish to create their own more complex choreography also they will be very welcome. Students will then present what they have created in the week at the final performance on the Friday.

Designed for aspiring singers and performers, this inspiring workshop gives students the opportunity to learn directly from highly experienced artist and Derosa Singing Tutor Elyssa Dean, whose career spans musical theatre, live touring, international performance, and cruise entertainment.
Elyssa began performing at just 8 years old after discovering her passion for singing when cast as the lead in a school play. She went on to study at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, performing at iconic venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and the Dominion Theatre. Her professional training continued at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she completed her BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.
She has since performed extensively across the UK and Europe and is currently the Lead Female Vocalist for the “Get Down On It” UK theatre tour. Elyssa has also performed aboard P&O Cruises’ flagship ships Britannia, Iona, and Arvia, and was selected to perform in the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Paralympics.
This masterclass focuses specifically on the audition process—giving students a real insider’s guide to what casting professionals are looking for and how to approach auditions with confidence and professionalism.
• Audition Preparation – What to bring, how to prepare your repertoire, and how to prepare yourself mentally and physically
• Arriving – Completing forms correctly, checking in confidently, and understanding how to work with audition runners and staff
• First Impressions – How to make a strong and professional entrance into the audition room
• The Audition Itself – Essential do’s and don’ts, performance etiquette, and how to handle nerves under pressure
• Recalls – What recalls are, why they happen, and how best to prepare for them
• Final Decisions – Understanding how casting decisions are made and what happens after the audition
The workshop will end with a 'mock audition' in front of the rest of your peers in the group, giving you the opportunity to try out some of the audition techniques you have learnt and receive valuable feedback from Elyssa.
For this reason, all attendees must bring a song with them to perform and prepare for the mock audition.
This is a fantastic opportunity for performers who are serious about taking their next steps in the industry, whether preparing for drama school auditions, professional castings, cruise contracts, or live performance work.
