Vocal Tutor
Elyssa started performing at the age of 8 after discovering her voice when cast as the lead role in a school play. She then went on to study Singing at Sylvia Young Theatre School, performing at prestigious venues such as the Dominion Theatre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the Royal Albert Hall. Elyssa then trained to be a professional Singer / Dancer / Actor undertaking a Foundation Course at Mountview Academy of Arts. Following this, she moved on to Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance to complete a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre. She’s been performing around the UK for several years at Holiday Parks, Hotels, and both Corporate and Live Music venues. She is the Lead Female Vocalist for the “Get Down On It” UK theatre tour, singing the biggest hits of the Disco era including, ‘Young Hearts Run Free’, ‘We Are Family’, and ‘I Will Survive’. In 2012, she was selected from many auditionees to perform in the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics. She has performed across Europe, notably in Spain, Denmark and Norway. Joining P&O Cruises’ Britannia performing as both a solo singer and in the house band. Most recently Elyssa has been hosting and performing alongside some famous faces such as Chesney Hawkes, Gareth Gates, Alice Fearn, La Voix, Lee Mead, Kevin Simm, Ben Ofoedu, Jaymi Hensley, SophIe McCartney within the prestigious Limelight Club onboard both of P&O’s newest and biggest ships Iona and the Flagship Arvia. As well as performing as a singer, Elyssa was selected as the face of the DFDS Seaways Live Entertainment campaign (2017).
