PIANO | ORGAN
Richard is an organ & piano teacher, teaching at Derosa to students of all ages and abilities across classical, pop and jazz styles. He also teaches music technology including Sibelius, Logic, and prepares students for theory exams.

He teaches piano performance and music theory to students of all ages and abilities and works hard to tailor-make his approach to each student. Richard teaches students from absolute beginners to Grade 8 standard and beyond.

Richard gained the CertRCO Organ Diploma from York University in 2007, studying under Kevin Bowyer and Gerard Brooks at the St Giles International Organ School, London.

Richard attends the annual ABRSM teacher conference and choral conducting courses with Choral Music Experience Institute (CME) in London for ongoing professional development.

As a church musician for over 20 years playing and directing the choir in churches across the country, Richard is now the Organist and Choirmaster at St Andrew’s Church, Girton, and accompanist for the Girton Community Choir
