Stephen grew up in Hertfordshire. At school he was a chorister and a keen student of both piano and cello, but it was the piano that he excelled in. After graduating from Nottingham University in Politics, he quickly became a musician, playing live piano performances at occassions such as weddings and funerals. He has had experience as a church pianist for the last three years and was previously a member of a gospel band. Stephen has been a private piano teacher and teaches lessons to all ages that are engaging, rigorous, and fully tailored to the individual student.

He is now a father of two babies who love to thump the family piano at home. In his spare time Stephen is currently starting a new vocal trio.
