The location presented an opportunity to enhance our retail presence significantly, with the aim of boosting both shop sales and student enrolment. To realize this vision, we recognized the need for a substantial shop refit, re-evaluating entry points, and revising staff working hours. The strategic approach was to create a more dynamic and customer-centric experience.

The Roar Music Academy proudly adopted the tagline "hear me roar." Recognizing its resonance, we seamlessly incorporated it into the identity of DeRosa Music Academy. This strategic decision not only aligned with our brand ethos but also proved beneficial for maintaining strong SEO positioning in Google Business Listings and generic Google searches.
Passing Trade...
Gaining visibility amidst the daily flow of hundreds of passing cars was crucial for us. Our philosophy revolves around a symbiotic relationship between the retail and school aspects of our business. We see the retail component as a pivotal gateway to the school, and conversely, the school plays a vital role in supporting the retail segment. This interconnected strategy ensures that both facets thrive harmoniously.

Given the constraints of a small retail space, meticulous planning went into the store layout. We initiated the process with a digital design, but as the work unfolded, the layout evolved to optimize the available space. To keep passersby engaged and informed about our progress, we presented them with a QR code. This digital gateway allowed them to stay updated on our journey and anticipate our grand opening, set for September 2022.

Recognizing that the reception area serves as the customers' initial experience, we strategically incorporated a large media screen to add an extra dimension of space to the shop. This not only expanded the physical environment but also provided an opportunity to contribute to the overall welcoming atmosphere.

We carefully created our stock profile to align with the specific needs of learners and the budget considerations of parents. Through strategic partnerships, we created a musical environment that encompassed a diverse range of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, pianos, digital drums, brass and woodwind instruments. Additionally, our selection extended to exam music essentials and a comprehensive array of accessories.

Our marketing strategy was finely tuned to resonate with local families and various community groups.
